the power of the cross

He came as the light and shone in the dark, they saw him shining but still they hardened their hearts, only if they knew if it was Christ they crucified,on that cross upon he died, they would not have tried. He humbled himself to be pierced with nails in hands, and they thought he'd bleed to death, But guess who he was? The son of man! They saw him as stupid but what he did was to fulfill the scriptures so not to conform the sinful desires of this earth we're into. He died for our lives, this tiny, unworthy speck ofdust, now I ask: what are you doing in return? Don't you comprehend, that He is and who was and still is, the Son of man who brings comfortable hands, that heal men led astray. He sits at the right hand of the throne pleading to the Father for all our wrongs. He diedon that cross on that tree on which he created, after three days he wasressurected and perfected,us to live the holy lives we're intended to. He came as the Lamb but he'll return as a Lion with a sword as strong as iron, separating goat from sheep. He is the King if kings, Christ the one we preach, the one without sin, lets give him our everything.
