The Power Within me!

My soul longeth to do that which is righteous But my flesh is weakened by the temptations It so grueling and laborious do what is right O how my strength and emotions fail me! I desire so much to be like you O Lord But doing so is not as simple as it appears The cross is heavy and my body surrenders It is defeating me physically and spiritually. How can I construct a strong and firm foothold? All of a sudden I realize I am so egocentric I try to undertake all problems single handedly How selfish and narcissistic of myself to think that I have the power to change the outcome but I've come to the realization that You are "the power within me," You can do anything!
