The rainforest saved me...
I had my hand let go, But the rainforest saved me. I walked in circles, Filling lives with duplicities. And then the rainforest saved me. I swam, kicking my heels back To a place Dark deep muddy But terribly delicious At times I’d gasped for air At times I’d been self-assured But most times I’d been floating, just underneath Then I found the perfect thing to Remind me… Standing on the earth Where so much beauty can exist in such harmony
