THE RIGHT TO LIFE
The Right to Life I said to him, "You\\'re going to be a dad" "We can\\'t take a baby on tour," is what he said. He paid for it all. Took care of everything. So I went to NYC myself at the age of nineteen. I never felt so lonely on that plane ride to New York. I never felt so empty, as on that flight back home. We got married later, but it never was the same. I knew he would never be there for me, when I really needed him. We had a little baby girl, before our second year of marriage. But it took out all the joy from it. I still thought about the other. It surprised the hell out of me, when he said "Let\\'s have another one." But this time I called the shots, and I told him I would be leaving him. I told him it would be too hard, raising two children all alone. But he said "Doesn\\'t a baby have a right, to have both parents around?" By Wordplaya Dec 2008

I enjoy writing and since rediscovering the power of poetry, it has brought me much joy! My favorite poet is Richard Brautigan, and I am a big fan of freestyle poetry, as I find it less limiting and most creative. I also like spoken word poetry. ...
