The River Grave

07 Aug 2007

·rossi

Bury me where the egdes of the river smiles Let her lick my flesh and smooth out my lifeless skin Let moss crawl and sprout, grow in my sadness, my twisted hate Let the water run and gauge out my pain Blister and mould in my shallow grave Lay me down in the covers of the stream my face in the sand so I cannot see those things that beckon me Pockets of air under my skin wrinkling the tarnished grief I have felt for so long bury me where the waters kiss my smile
