The Rose garden

Amongst the garden of rose stands, a coarse stone of heart Proudly it displays It’s shimmery coat of white Seasons passed, but constant it remains under the shades of fortitude Resisting advances of soft petals of rose, under moonlit night Untouched so it would seem, but look closely and you will see the cracks, the chipped corners of deceptiveness It’s base invaded by weeds of restlessness Spreading through the cracks so eloquently Compromised is the façade By the wish of a single dewdrop, you crumbled and fell apart…
