And the sun and the moon remain the same Centuries have passed and the wind still blows and the leaves still fall In a world of different places filled with different people the steps we take are the same journeying into life and ultimately stepping unto death A new heart is born and it will beat the same circumstances may differ but it will learn of love and learn of hate the same We are burned by the fire and frozen by the cold all the same Tears will continue to run down the same cheeks that form a smile There will always be questions without desired answers stares without seeing deaf ears to the screaming And the sun and the moon remain the same and the wind still blows and the leaves will still fall
