The Same: Yet Different:
In a box of Christmas Crackers Each one will look the same And yet each Christmas Cracker No doubt will containA very different riddle And a puzzle or a game. Here we have a Christmas gift On the outside wrapped in gold Inside something to treasure It maybe new or old But it’s not until we open it That it’s secret will unfold! Let’s think about the Christmas Trees In the forest where they’ve grown Each one may look identical Standing tall, alone When we add our decorations Then it becomes our own. People dressed in uniform All standing in a row What they stand for or believe in We may not ever know! But seize a chance to meet them Then relationships may grow So the Cracker and the Christmas Box And the bare Christmas Tree On the outside may look similar Yet there’s still so much to see. Each person may look very different But similarities are there Our lives have followed different paths Yet we find that we can share Beliefs and understanding In the way we love and care. Jesus loves us for ourselves Whatever we may do He’s always there beside us His strength will see us through His Faith and Hope is everlasting And His Great Love for you. So there’s no need to be concerned If things don’t go our way For God will give us all the strength We need to cope each day I wish you all a Happy Christmas Let God’s Peace be here to stay! Ann Chad
