The search
THE SEARCH While you lay restless in your mother's womb, My love for you was in full bloom. The doctor took you and slapped your thigh, I felt your pain and started to cry. To love someone you've never seen Is a miracle at best. To feel - to know - that person Is real and there The attitude of that love fills the air. To seek - to search your lifetime through For that one special person I can't just make do. But I searched for you in all the wrong places. Too many women - too many faces. So, I gave up on this arduous task. Now I walk through this world wearing a mask. The Love of my life, I'll never know - the joy of your love evades me. Sharing - caring - laughing - touching Loving Being with you.
