Afternoons evade like thieves Unleash a chilling breeze, Tussling the fallen leaves Under hazel trees, Midnights spent in solitude, lost in deep reflections Noting how the colors changed versus one’s projections. Wrathful blizzards flaunt their might In the arctic wind Nothing seen past walls of white Trembling and pinned Eternity evades you now, nightly curtain falls Relinquish all the fears you hoard, smile when darkness calls.
