the serpant
Silently sitting with my wrists slit Sedated I stammer and slaver and spit Sadly I slobber and sullenly spew Sob in the shadows I seek to subdue Septic and sickened, secreting my sins Sedition does stricken and seep through my skin Secluded with Sorrow’s shirked silhouette Sordidly seeking a slaughtered sunset Somber and stifled I solemnly seize Slovenly shiver in showers of sleaze Serpents and spirits stalk and do spout Stake out my soul and salaciously shout Sallow I’m seeking something sanguine Shallowly seething I search for my sign Slaying the specters that stridently shrill Stagger and suckle my will to be still Sunder me from my sleepy eyed sun Strip me of summer’s slumbering stun So that I stutter, sputter and spurt Soil myself when someone does smirk Shattered and shaken for Satan I see Saunter and slither sinuously Sporadic and static yet somehow serene Staid and sated and so serpentine Skyward, I’m soaring through shimmering seas Soaring toward skies of sanctimony
