the serpent (repents)
The serpent repents Although we search we will never find, peace will always evade us Through desserted streets to the railway line, serpentine in its movement You threw it all away For the promise of a better day But you are no where to be found You been buried underground There was talk of peace and of changing times, they built walls but could not retreat us We planted seeds in every mind, and through grace all could receive us Where is that brighter day, the storm clouds are on their way Bad news sure gets around, oh ma they blew up downtown They roll on wheels and commit war crimes, moving too fast to repent now The Black mass begins and they all chant, chant with the serpent When the north wind blows,it blows leaves up the blood drenched roads Bad news gets around,oh ma they blew up downtown Oh ma they have killed every one.
