THE SONG OF SPRING The scent of spring when I open my screen The scurry of Lady Bugs trying to get in As the curtains flutter with every warm breeze, the sunshine pours down from the top of the eaves The birds stage a symphony complete with full chorus as trees now explode in full color glorious, They announce their epiphany that Spring’s now arrived and the cruelties of winter we all have survived.
