The president decided to speak to the nation: ‘We must all address the problem of inflation This may mean of course rises in taxation And I am sure this will bring on vexation But permit me to provide an explanation And maybe reduce your consternation Which will give a degree of mitigation To a very understandable frustration I can tell you this without hesitation It may be due to misinterpretation Arising from the untrue allegation Spread by those with motivation And not without discrimination As they are short of education Who would feel some elation If the poor financial situation Were to result in starvation For a gradual deterioration My undoubted vilification Involving a complication Leading to a visitation An F.B.I investigation A federal deputation Then incarceration With desperation And humiliation Mortification Defamation Medication Agitation Rectification Reincarnation Such jubilation And the creation Of an administration Restore my reputation With no more altercation And prove my vindication There’ll be much adulation I will lead you all to salvation So let’s have no recrimination We will prevent all immigration And will demand the verification Of our desires that emancipation Our plans for the racial integration And to almost certain manifestation Of political peace and harmonization Will help me to be the personification Of a strong leader in this organization Which will lead us to world domination Leading to totally unexpected revelation With unconditionally unilateral unification Which will lead to our country’s glorification But we must address the problem of inflation...’
