The Spider's Web (PT. 1)
The Spider's web extends in every direction. Numerous Insects fly into the dew-covered threads, Drawn by the shimmering reflection of light. Though the Insects strike the web And send vibrating sensations to the Spider, That hangs in the middle, The Spider makes no move to capture them. And so, the Insects, sensing no danger, Stay, do not struggle, enjoying their weightlessness. No, those Insects do not panic, Nor did they panic to begin with. The Spider eventually grows fond, Very fond, of the silent companionships. And as it grows fond, so, too, do the Insects.
