The Stinky Smell

Grandpapa made a rippling sound From his backside came the ripple The after smell made my nose horribly sniffle With a smell that could gas a hippo The adults pretended nothing was wrong But i could not stand the pong Poking fun i said "who done that" O how stinky came this horrible smell I instinctively i knew where it had come from For i could tell It came from grandpapa I heard it come from his bum I started to laugh Because the noise he made was such fun My grandpapa's face went bright red I dont know if it was because of what i said Or was it because of the shame of the smell Grandma brought us all tea in her best china cups But i couldnt drink it because the smell had given me the hiccups Next time we go to visit our grandparents I am going to put a peg onto my nose to block out the smell
