the storm
My body chills, I am in darknessThe bite of a cold wind passes through my bodyIn the distance I see a storm,Growing stronger with everyrotationThe swelling warmth approaches, and I waitI turn my face but there’s nothing else around meThe heat presses against my skinLighting curls in the cloudsA hand reaches out to touch meShe is the force of thunder, just before it cracksIn this instant,I am filled with warmthOverwhelming my sensesMy body stopsAnd I crumble to the storm
