The Storm

·Vagabond

Bodies entwined, spirits united Under the silver mistress of midnight. A cool breeze caresses them As nature sings it's blessing. Rivers of sensation Cascade through their bodies, And tidal waves of passion Drown them without remorse. Billowing clouds of steam Rise from glistening skin, Joining the meadow mists In silent celebration of harmony. Desire crests, pulses roar With unabated fury! A storm of lust, breaking, Crashing almost angrily against their souls. The whirlwind slows, begins to fade, Leaving behind spent And shivering victims. Slowly the world begins to recover. In the wake of the assault On body and soul, They lay together, panting, Spent, exhausted, in love. And the moon moves on, Smiling silver on the world below, Knowing that once again Reckless abandon brought pure peace.
