The Stranger.

·snowflak

"Help me" she asks the stranger He has never before seen this sad face But knows those eyes well Pure desperation leaks from the pools of blue Landing on the stone cold floor This floor has never felt these girls tears But has felt tears like this before Old magazines and books piled high Are there to take a shattered mind elsewhere Cold fingers tremble as she turns dirty pages Of the old book This book has never felt these shaking hands but remembered The last girl reading and how her hands also shook The final destination, the place where sanity is restored Is a tiny room and a tiny pill to stop a tiny beating heart She is sorry but never wanted to be in this situation from the start As she exits another girl enters with bleary eyes And asks the stranger before her "Can you help me?"
