The Stranger
Stranger I recognize your face some how somewhere so long ago when you were standing alone in the rain Stranger your face looks so familar to me you were hungry, afraid and needed shelter from the pain and I was there But did I extend to you a helping hand or did I just turn and walk away when all the others passed you by did I leave or did I stay Stranger, I now realize you wereonly a stranger to my eyes for my heart knew who you were all along I recognize the humility that puts me to shame I recognize the courage I wish to gain I recognize you in the scripture that's plain to see when you've done it unto the least of these you've done it unto me
