The Things I Would Do- 2) Washing the Dishes
The Things I Would Do 2. Washing the Dishes I would wash the dishes for you, If there was nothing else you'd rather have me do. Ridiculously clean just like the machine Butdrier than bones too. I would wash the dishes for you, If your ribs caved in and your blood turned blue, Just a tea towel and no sign of a scowl; The plates seem as good as new. I would wash the dishes for you, If you could not stand to think its true That the dirt has surrounded most of the cutlery, counted At last to be thirty-two. Oh I would wash and wash and never stop Only when my mind unwinds, and i can't help but drop To another line. My idea was to have about 7 or 8 poems in this collection called The Things I Would Do, This being the second. An alternative view to falling in love, Or losing your mind - Depending on whether you have a pair of rose-tinted glasses. the poems would link almost as part of a conversation - things that could be said. they will all contain the recurring "drop to another line." - as in chatup line..i like that dual meaning. But all the same, I plan to describe things I would actually do for somebody, Writingthe Poem Washing the Dishes Changingthe Channel Learning the Language but i wouldnt mind some opinions on whether i should continue this theme, or branch into things i wouldnt do - or couldnt do, Moving the Mountains Splitting the Seas Finding the Square Root etc. would love somebody elses brain to contribute to this as i'm certainly unsure.

reading and writing is all that's exciting, apart from living, inciting the fighting; and inviting people to party.
