the trees dance with me
have I told you the trees dance with me? yes, it sounds funny but it's true and very enchanting I like a child look at them with such curiosity because they are so tall that sometimes they seem to touch the sky and I wonder ‘how small am I?’ and they shake their branches splashing me with drizzle as dogs do coming out of the water inevitably they drop some leaves and sometimes some fruit as well so I laugh and they laugh with me with the shadow of their branches over my shoulders I know what proceeds I respectfully bow and kindly accept their invitation I take them by the waist and we dance together I must admit as well it feels great dancing on their feet and we get carried away by the music with which the wind participates but sometimes one spins around so many times that to the eyes of others one seems to be a fool but it is very intimate something very special to dance with the trees they say to me there is my child! there is my love! and they stroke my hair and occasionally they say goodbye giving me a flower have I told you the trees dance with me? yes, it sounds funny but it's true and very enchanting!
