The true believer
And should this wintry child of dreary gaze Die a sudden death Would you still mourn, his icicle-like heart? As you linger amongst charcoal shadows of futile yesterdays? Or would you rejoice As it drips, melts under the fragrant charms of spring, with its velvety decadence The soft twirls, swirls of delicate scoops, that awaits the true believer, dancing upon the subtle wings of rainbow colored hummingbirds Echoing wildly, the melodic chants of infinite possibilities Would you still mourn or rejoice?
