The Walk
I walk, aimless… The ground is hard, cold… I wish my soul would be likewise. Without you, all there is… is emptiness I shiver, not from the biting wind, But from not having you. I feel the exposure. The best part of me is ripped away. My tears freeze to my face, Frozen reflections of happy memories. I find it hard to believe I was ever happy without you. I am not now. So I walk, hoping…
