The Wasteland

Rise above the sky, above the heavens that lie at my feet. Catch up with my memories, give me the last sunset casually. Before you pass, take a look at my reflection in your cracked mirror. You are an oasis in the wasteland of expired life. I am playing with your dreams, asking questions to your heart. These are questions that even silence has no answers to. Look at the Sun before a sleepless day devours it. You are the messenger who satiates me with my first extinct star at dawn. You are the pain that brings green tears, tears that have tangled up in my lashes. I believe in the early twilight which, instead of street lamps, ignites deserted hearts. I still wander between the window and the door, on the wall I can see the gate to God's garden. I love your loneliness, I wear the smile you bought me for my first day of maturity.
