The Way

The stars come out to shine in the middle of the night The moon also lights up the sky and heavens so bright The planets gravitate around the universe and space Do humans and/or aliens live in this distant place? The sun keeps the earth and other planets warm The scorching sun can sometimes cause some harm. It penetrates the cells in your largest organ, your skin It can be our fiercest enemy, foe or it can be our friend. The earth gives humans a temporary place to live It has been here for eons, how much longer will it exist? We have polluted the dry land and the ocean's depth Our earth's resources are being depleted by the inept. I wonder if we will conquer or invade the heavenly space Or will we die when this earth is gone and life culminates? Whatever happens to the human race on that day I know that eternity waits and we shall know the Way!
