The Yearning

·SICKNESS

The snaring of chaotic-emotion-deserts rising, Held by ropes of enslaving bliss-displacing freedom, Eroding the superior guilt-ridden angst of survival. Everlasting quests for the light to be true, Vicarious natural selection for impure answers, Evading the peace of acceptance …falling down; Rubbing-salt for suffering tear-ducts, Listless interactions… Another day without energy spent well. Should we exchange Destiny for Fate? To confuse the ending’s will to just be, Injured morals for the yearning of lost humanity. Never lingering long enough inside memories of disbelief, Gauging life in tragic doses of regret. Darkness! Always seeing the light first, Revelling in its misgivings of forsaken lives, Kamikaze-emptiness for the full picture. Nullifying the void never refilled; Evacuation of one’s self…for what? Sanctity… Security… Of flesh we are made… Forever to perish under the thumb of Pride. Light breaking through, In love-faith-forgotten-droplets of rest. Growing towards an end to attachment, Heaving heavy hearts, To life, and the everlasting darkness of light. (26/05/2006-RSA)
