The Yearning Tree
Winter with his icy breath has frozen my limbs half to death. Nary a leaf clings to my frame, I feel so bare its just a shame. I shiver as the wind blows by my trunk gives out a heavy sigh. I ache and pain and feel so bad. my condition is pretty sad. Yet when I'm dressed in full array, my branches decked with leaves each day, I'm a beauty to behold. My colors even turn to gold. I fully understand the reason why I must endure this season. Still I yearn for warmer climes sunny days and better times.
