THERE'S SOMETHING TO BE SAID (dedicated to my husband of 25 years) * Though, there's something to be said about that first night of passion. There's something to be said about a lifetime of devotion. He won't leave me, and I won't leave him. We've become the beacon light, in each other's storms. A snuggling spoon, to keep each other warm, on a cold winters night when no nightgowns worn. He's part of my history and I'm part of his, as we met each other when we were still kids! We're pledged to each other, for better or worse, though more often than not it may seem like a curse, but it's very comforting, when times are sparse, And nothing will ever change that fact, and there's something to be said about that!
