When you feel you’ve been bless Then I’m afraid the rest Leave you want but not getting your fill. With a heart that was tender and mind that would test ya It really is quite tough. To take something lesser is quite a distresser So I’m keeping myself in this box With its wall on all sides And a peep hole to spy I seldom see someone I’d want And to know them id bet ya A five or a tener They wouldn’t be up to the mark So I’m destined you see By vote or decree To live out these days alone Unless you my dear suitor would like a new tutor We could light up an ember of the flames I remember And bring me back from the dark ( did write something along the same vein 2 nights ago, but the kids have gotten to it and its gone into that void were your other socks disapear to, the unknown, this is a rethink of the same idea but not as good as the one I wrote in the dark a 1 in the morning )
