Things I Miss
I miss the warmth of your embrace Your tender touch upon my face I miss the way you made me smile Erasing my loneliness for a while I miss the times that we would dance Daring my heart to take the chance I miss the tender words you said They now reside within my head I miss the looks you gave to me They made me feel cherished and free I miss the times we spent together Now locked in my memory forever I miss the phone calls late at night Hearing you voice filled me with light I miss the way you made me feel For a while, at least, it was real Of all the things I really miss I miss the wonder of your kiss.
