Thirty Candles
Another birthday, another year I though I would have accomplished more I will confess growing old is a fear Another year, in the closet, I close the door This Sunday thirty candles graced my cake Friend and family stand around the table I try to hide my knees that quake It's just another day, another fable So I blow out my candles and smile I can't explain why I feel so cold Reflecting, on the past, all the while Oh God, I'm thirty.......... I'm old
