This world
An endless deluge, raw power, a raging torrent. The sea, unforgiving, and yet life bringing. A fiery hell, the smoke and ash alone kill. The volcano, deadly and yet grows crops. A destruction bringer, rips homes and people apart. The hurricane, a killer, yet... The wind, a sickeningly puissant force, kills thousands of people and shows no remorse, The earth is a dreadfully deadly place, and yet here we live in our corner of space. We could see these things as tokens of death, I prefer thinking of them as rebirth, a new breath. No pessimist will bring me down, in the long haul, because I think it's a miracle that we're here at all.
