Three Sails to the Wind
Lost in a sea of toxic amber The world flies quickly by Meaning nothing at all to me All beauty and innocence died I worship at the altar of poison My salvation sealed in glass Enveloped in a sweet numbness That I know could never last Dying slowly with every drink But I just pay no mind Throwing away the time I have left Not caring who I leave behind Lost in a sea of toxic amber With a compass that is shattered With three sails to the wind, I drift away Like I never really mattered

I love all kinds of art, I write music as well as poetry and have been playing guitar for many years, with bass as a secondary instrument. If you happen to have stumbled on this profile, hopefully you enjoy my writings!
