Thunderstorm
Moment by moment, the sky darkens, Sounds are silent in anticipation. A rumble vibrates in the distance, Announcing, the pending storm. The rain starts it's slow tap dance, Increasing in momentum. The sky is blinded by sudden light, Cowering from deafening thunder. Hail starts hammering it's destruction, Wind pulls and shoves in all directions. Trees moan protestingly, Their branches threatening to crack. ****** Gradually the noise dissipates, The drip, drip takes its time. Sun rays slash through, Announcing, it is over.
