They traveled far cross land and sea Porcelain skin and hair aflame To carry the mantle and the cross To carry the works of the highest name They saw the devil and his works In guise of rituals and common art And thus saw fit to purge them all To create a pure and christian heart For martyrs flow inside them all Being beaten and tortured by mighty Rome And this is the story they carry forth As they beat the devils from your home. How much they suffered so you can see That your every move is bathed in sin And your life is no longer just your own But belongs to the church and the god within For never has there been a god So determined to get his way That he has a million mouths To prepare us for judgment day For who dares to pick apart The holy book and the holy word? Obey the laws and live in his name So simply for thus said the lord.
