Tick, tock Tsunami, typhoon, earth quakes and tornadoes. I can’t help but think Soon this world will be unable, Our hunger it pits us against Mother Nature We rape and plunder for more that we hunger, Economies, power, Populations exploding. Our world, over loading And mindless are the masses Like aphids, we feast. Unwilling to listen Most blinded by ease While the earth falls to its knees. She enforces her opinion Flexing her muscles Giving us a warning, Mass devastation is a way, Sending Floods, fire, famine And all that we do is maneuver and jostle Fight over scraps, Soon is the hour will be for us to take stock. No more roses to devour Can we turn back the clock? Tick, tock Tick, tock
