Time

Time goes on. It does not stop. Each second a grain of sand will drop. The years go by without refrain, Memories fade without disdain. I know not where my feet have carried to have me pushed, tortured, and harried. Interests come, daydreams go. Winter passes without snow. Days go by. Some good, some bad. Some sunny, some rainy. Some happy, some sad. Days dark and cold. Days light and bright. Some come with twinkling stars at night. Spring flowers on the highway side bloomed and flourished, faded and died. Outside to venture I have not dared as summer heat as roared and flared. Crisp autumn days the heat has broke as I breathed in coolness and breathed out smoke. Winter days came cool and still. Sometimes cold enough to chill. The seasons flown, the days of life are marked by sorrow, passion, strife.
