Time not enough
My hand could not grip, not tight enough to bring you from the edge, looking down into despair your eyes always betrayed your pain, eyes no longer willing to cry, a heart already far broken it could not even cast a shadow you have crossed over into realms so deep, you haunt my dreams begging for light, but as I breathe fire to shine your way you disappear I stand near that chasm, and whisper my adieus, hoping that some soft wind shall carry an image of my broken heart down to you
