Timeless Affection
The leaves on my oak tree never fall, They cling to their green through each season’s call. While grass may wither as autumn descends, It springs back to life, as the cycle transcends. In the chill of the air, when the colors fade, My heart stays steadfast, in your love I'm laid. For though time may change what the world can bestow, My feelings for you will eternally grow. Through winter’s embrace and summer’s bright glow, Like the oak standing firm, my affection will show. In the dance of the seasons, the promise I make: With each passing year, my love won’t forsake. So as leaves hold their green and the grass finds its way, Know my heart is a garden that blooms every day. Forever I’ll cherish, through joy and through pain, For love like the oak tree, will always remain.
