To Grandad, for you are an angel
I did never know you wrote poetry, Endless knowledge of yours you gave so free, Beyond all comparison we’ve loved you, To the very end it was returned true, Endless banter, hugs, kisses, the gentle giant, Your personality shone through, defiant, And came with you was happiness and hugs, Even with all the tannings in your mugs, No more shall we joke about your belly zip, Or even about your afternoon kip, Here I write my feelings, only for you, Now you’re in heaven, no need to be blue, For no man will ever be missed so much; Granddad, for no man will be loved such.
