To My Love - Sonnet
Thy amity, my love, does live in pairs, Thy harmony survives the heavy storm. When walking hand in hand, the bond does bear The blustering wind and beasts the tall flames form. The fiery race we shall slow down, until We need it sped. The path, the width of two, Unless with only one it does need fill When other half is carried, me or you. Let every note stay tuned to sing our song, And let the flowers bloom and die in turn Before our hands do break and witness long The loneliness that thy will never learn. Thy amity, my love, does live in pairs, There is no other love, no one who cares.
