To my wife on our wedding day

On this day I rose and a thought stuck in my mind. I couldn't shake it off not even if I tried. What's happening? Why now? What for? Is this really the right time? But then the thought should me why these two souls should entwine. It took me back through several years to a time before this cause and as it spoke from the heart, I couldn't help but pause. I saw times of joy and laughter, times of tender love and feeling, times of trials but also times of smiles and times of praying, kneeling. I saw times when we were kids and times of acting silly but also when we snuggled when it felt a little chilly. There were times when we felt work or stress or times we felt like crying but times we felt our destiny and to that there's no denying. I saw the weeks, the months, the years we cared, we lived, we loved and i felt the way that god has watched us from above And then i saw this day today and how perfect it should be but I knew no matter how it went that you love me for me. Now with that thought I see happiness for the remainder of my life and I can tell you how proud I am to have you as my wife. So what the future holds for us we'll have to wait and see. All I know is that I'm glad that you'll be here with me.
