The sun is quickly fading as it surrenders to this night this darkness deep inside my soul persuading me to write I've seen too many faces staring with painful hollow eyes have heard so many hurting voices of wailing screaming cries Outside my window the moon is full this emptiness cuts like a knife is the world going through a total eclipse of life? The four winds are getting stronger the approaching storm is near minds consumed by perplexity hearts failing because of fear My resolution is now an empty bottle so I'll stagger out the door before one last hit nails my ass completely to the floor Outside my window the moon is full this emptiness so cold with strife is the world going through a total eclipse of life?
