Trapped and indifferent

What was it like When she told you You were a mistake? Emptiness, dead eyes, The blood of euphoria coursing Through her corpse? Did she tell you Which of her demons Fathered and abandoned you? As her blood became dry Voice indifferent, And trapped? Did you feel anything As you cast her Into the pit of the unforgiven? Do you still see every scar As a moment of love Brought from desperation? Does seeing her in pain Rotting away on generic sheets Bring a smile to your heart? Are you not scared Your cowering child Will someday be thinking the same?
