True Happiness

if I am to continue on this path am I a wretched creature destined or doomed, beholden to distant visions of loveliness familiar and yet afar off, beyond the pale as sounds of laughter lift displacing the senses vividly splashing against this mess of crumbled sashes and emptiness no longer filled music sounds softly words are of no consequence we listen together, speechless no more illusions an observer, no less freedom has wrought for us true happiness. true happiness is this what you call true happiness? lacking the backbone to say no and yet for me, it was different I waited for what was certainly months or even years I was the one with the answers, so taut solutions for questions unspoken, creations for all things and yet, here I sit while you on that other side still can't begin to let go
