Twister
Here it comes roaring like a lion. Ripping and tearing throwing things like a beast. We must make it to the shelter to save our lives at least. Its dark down here but we have made it. Where is the lantern did you hide it again? I can't see anything this wasn't are plan. The storm is right over us it is quiet now. It must be the eye for the storm is big. Yet I see silent mishap in the ditch you dig. Wind is picking back up for it is on the move. Still dark and now water is leaking in the groove. Waiting patiently for the catastrophe to pass. Last time it took everything only left the grass. Now it is safe to go out examine the damage. The door is heavy opening it, dont know how I manage What has happened? The sun is out. Shining bright I can't help but doubt. There was just a storm, a terrible disaster. I look around nothing is touched, nothing thrown in the pasture. Hug my family with confused tears of laughter. Maybe it wasn't us this twister was after.
