Two friends
"Two friends" Her face was quiet solemn, She shook her head, You are looking weary, my dear…..she said, & I was surprised for truth to tell, I thought, I was looking remarkably well. But, when I reached home, I stood in front of the mirror, & said to myself ‘U don’t look too good’ & sat down to rest, & in no time at all was depressed. Next morning……………………. I met an old friend of mine Hello, she said, ’U R looking fine’ & what a simple delightful hat, U certainly don’t look your age in that. I reached home & stood in front of the mirror once more, & was contended with whatI saw. My step was buoyant, my heart was light………… & gloom & depression were put to fight.
