Two sided story
The end of the workday was near and I didn't know what to do. Should I go home or should I just go to the nearest church pew? I wasn't ready to submit myself to any more verbal abuse So I opted to go elsewhere instead of re-lighting the fuse. We spent day and nights without saying a word to each other We were like strangers and had no desire to start all over We spent most of our days spitting offensive remarks Demeaning each other from daylight to late in the dark. Our words were so hurtful, they cut through our hearts like a knife I could not spend a day with her anymore, much less my life. She had broken every vow that we had promised to keep Our relationship had grown so apart, we were in it too deep. I tried to act like the victim in this story but I can truly say I wasn't as innocent and without sin, as I tried to portray. In life, there are always two sides and two points of view So things happen because of the choices made by two.
