Two Thousand Years

·Mental Journey

Two Thousand Years, we pled our case With weapons stained in dripping blood, Not allowing communication face to face Our reasons are as clear as mud, They are the devil, you must agree, If not you must get away from me You are complicit in their plan You must all die, every last man, After all this time, the fight’s going strong, How could resolution not have come? Voices are the same from each side For the same reasons, each have died, You are fighting yourselves in different skin How can you not see you all are kin, All this death is just plain wrong! Step outside with me, to a different plane And look at the facts again, With no emotion you will see We are all the same, you and me.

Mental Journey

Mental Journey

I am on a journey of the mind. Contemplating the universe on every scale, and doing a complete introspective exploration. I may never be a literary academic, but I share my humble thoughts in hope that they may inspire others.
